COLOR SCHEMES

Look around you... How many color schemes can you find?? I bet there are tons! Truth is- there are. All around you, people are using colors to grab your attention, to make you think, "wow that must be pretty cool...". Your subconscious is ALWAYS seeing colors that turn your head. So... How do they do it? How do you use colors to create awesome projects, eye-catching paintings, A+ school assignments?

Here are some helpful basics:

Opposites Attract!

- Blue and Orange

- Purple and Yellow

- Red and Green

Hot and Cold

There are two different types of colors- warm and cool. Some warm colors are: red, orange, yellow, and pink. Some cool colors are: green, blue, indigo, and purple.

Put It All Together!

Put colors together. Mix it up! Add more colors, not just reds. Also it actually helps to have fun with it. If you don't like the colors you choose, it will not look good because you aren't motivated by them.
